Babylist and Wishorium, side by side
What Babylist says it does
- It’s a free universal baby registry: you add items from tens of thousands of retailers, including Amazon and Target.
- It has its own Babylist Shop, and Babylist Shop purchases are marked off your list for you.
- A completion discount on eligible items in the Babylist Shop, around your due date.
- Cash funds and group gifts, so friends and family can chip in.
- A Hello Baby Box of baby things (you pay the shipping; US addresses only).
- An interactive checklist, guides, and an app.

What Wishorium does differently
- Add from any shop, including the ones near you: paste a link, use the bookmark button, or add by hand.
- Family circle what they’re getting, wherever they buy it, so nothing doubles up, and you see who for the thank-you notes.
- A baby checklist in the Add tab that ticks itself off by name, however a wish got onto the list.
- Made for children’s lists after the baby arrives too: first birthdays and Christmases, with a child mode for when they’re older.
- Write a thank-you note to everyone who gave something, right from the list.
- Free. The list can also be printed as a real catalogue (that part is paid).
Where Babylist is better, and who should use it
If you’re in the US and want a completion discount, cash funds, group gifts towards a big item or the Hello Baby Box, Babylist offers those and we don’t. On Wishorium a group gift is just a note on the wish.
A baby list that keeps going
Wishorium isn’t only for the baby shower. When the first birthday and Christmas come round, make a list for those too, and the family already know how it works.
Try it before you move anything
Flick through an example baby list first. If it suits you, start one in about five minutes and add things from the shops you already use.
Questions from grown-ups
Can I bring my Babylist registry across?
There’s no automatic import from Babylist. Paste each wish’s shop link into the Add tab and we fill in the name, picture and price. An Amazon baby wishlist can be imported in one go.
Can family see who bought what?
Family see that a wish is taken. You see who circled it, for the thank-you notes, and you choose whether the family see names too.
Is it free?
Yes. Some shop links are affiliate links, which pay us a small commission at no cost to you.
Ready when you are ✨
Free, five minutes to set up, and the family don’t need an app.
