Giftster and Wishorium, side by side
What Giftster says it does
- It’s free.
- You can add items from any store or website.
- You make a private group and bring everyone’s lists together in one place.
- Shoppers mark items reserved or purchased, and the list maker can’t see that.
- Groups can run a Secret Santa draw, with exclusions.
- You can make and manage lists for children.

What Wishorium does differently
- Each child gets a wish book: a catalogue the family flick through, at its own web address.
- Family circle what they’re getting, so nobody doubles up, and you see who for the thank-you notes.
- Child mode: your child can browse and heart favourites, and never sees who is buying what. Your secret word takes you back to parent mode.
- Your child can pick their own wishes by drawing a circle round them, like the old Christmas catalogues.
- The list can be printed as a real catalogue and posted to you (that part is paid).
- Free, with things from any shop.
Where Giftster is better, and who should use it
If you want one place for the whole family’s lists, grown-ups included, or a Secret Santa draw, Giftster does that and we don’t. Wishorium is made for children’s and babies’ lists.
Made for children’s lists
Everything in Wishorium is built round a child’s list: themes for birthdays, Christmas and new babies, a countdown on the cover, and a child mode that keeps the surprise.
Try it before you move anything
Flick through an example book first. If it suits you, start a list in about five minutes and paste links from the shops you already use.
Questions from grown-ups
Can I bring my Giftster list across?
There’s no automatic import from Giftster. Paste each wish’s shop link into the Add tab and we fill in the name, picture and price. An Amazon wish list can be imported in one go.
Does my family need an account?
Only if you want them to. When you set up the list you choose: either anyone with the link can circle and just type their name, or they sign in with Google or an email address (and can add a photo).
Is it free?
Yes. Some shop links are affiliate links, which pay us a small commission at no cost to you.
Ready when you are ✨
Free, five minutes to set up, and the family don’t need an app.
